Sweden's vast wilderness is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the elusive grey wolf. Embark on a thrilling adventure to track these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat and encounter other fascinating wildlife along the way.

What to Expect From This Experience

Wolf Territory Exploration: Venture into the wolves' natural habitat, tracking footprints, killings and droppings, and listening for their haunting howls. While spotting wolves is a rare occurrence due to their elusive nature, our expert guides are dedicated to providing you with the best chance of witnessing their presence.

Expert Guides: Our guides possess an in-depth understanding of wolf behaviour and migratory patterns, enhancing your experience with valuable insights. They'll lead you on a captivating 6km hike, adjusting the route based on wind direction, animal activities, and other factors.

Winter Wonderland Exploration: In the depth of winter, experience the magic of walking on frozen lakes to follow wolf traces and gather information about their whereabouts.

Howling Experience: Ascend to a hilltop with our expert guide, who will create a magical moment by howling to call the wolves. Sometimes, the wolves respond, creating an enchanting connection with these majestic creatures.

Itinerary

We will meet at our meeting point (please check the table on the left menu) in Stockholm and drive to our spot to start the experience.

• Departure from Stockholm

• Arrive at the forest parking spot

• Wilderness exploration on or off-track

• Enjoy a warm lunch/dinner prepared over an open fire

• Continue the adventure or drive to another spot based on animal activity

• Fika break with a fire to warm up

• Hike to a hilltop for the unforgettable wolf howling experience

• Return to the parking lot

• Departure back to Stockholm

Inclusions

Equipment: Binoculars and night vision are provided for the group to elevate your chances of wildlife spotting, especially during dusk.

Activities: Wolf tracking, animal spotting, and an immersive exploration of Sweden's wildlife.

Please Note: Throughout the journey, our guides will engage you with informative discussions about the diverse flora and fauna you encounter. As we traverse the wilderness, keep an eye out for other enchanting creatures such as roe-deers, fallow deers, deers, wild boars, and, if we're fortunate, even the majestic moose. Nature is full of surprises, and with luck on our side, we might stumble upon the elusive lynx footprint or other intriguing traces. Our guides are passionate about sharing their knowledge, ensuring that every step of your adventure is filled with discovery.
