Hej November!

Feels like it came sooner than we think, and it might prompt us to shout out Usch! Vilket väder! (Ugh! What a miserable weather!) or even Vilket jävla skitväder! (What a devilish shit/oops weather!).

Sweden is known for its unforgiving winters. November is arguably the harshest month, as we're welcomed into winter with bitter winds and quickly-dropping temperature. No matter how much we try to avoid it, outdoors seem to always be the answer. Surviving November can be a lot easier with reduced levels of stress, happier mood and better sleep cycles – all of which are scientifically proven effects of exercise. It will also make your fredagsmys (literally means 'Friday cosinessis, it can be described as a family evening at home with comfort food) all the more rewarding.

Besides if we want to add some more traditional Swedish weather vision to help us what to expect in the upcoming days; there is an old Swedish saying "Anders braskar, julen slaskar" That means that if the weather is rainy with plenty of slask (slush) on November 30th, Saint Andrew's Day, there will be a vit jul (white Christmas).

But do not worry. We already feel the winter and started to plan ahead the upcoming icy days. Missed a lot to ice skate on frozen lakes and longing for it! We still continue hiking, mountain biking and survival courses and it makes us feel lively during these dark days!

Continue to dare the adventure and keep on doing outdoor activities!
